What Oojo is and who it suits
Oojo is an online travel agency for airline tickets, run from Amsterdam by Oojo International B.V. and part of Trevolution Group, which groups the travel businesses of the Dyninno group.3,6 It sells flights in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, and added Germany in December 2024.6,8 Its 2025 media kit reports about 350,000 website users a month and 349,162 unique tickets issued in 2024.6
It suits travelers who compare fares mainly on price and want chat or phone help when plans change. It fits less well if you need a flexible ticket without paying for extras, because changes and refunds run through Oojo and depend on the airline's fare rules.3,4 This review uses Oojo's terms, help pages and company documents plus Trustpilot, BBB and US Department of Transportation data, checked on 3 November 2026. Oojo's website blocked our server, so some Oojo pages are cited from Internet Archive copies; we did not book a flight.

Who runs Oojo
Oojo's terms of use name the website operator as Oojo International B.V., registered in the Netherlands with an address on Rokin in Amsterdam, and describe Oojo as a "platform operator and travel content distributor" for fares from airlines, consolidators and travel agencies.3 Terms revised in October 2023 had named Traveltech Corp of Riga, Latvia, as the operator, with Oojo LLC among its affiliates.15
Oojo's 2025 media kit lists it among Trevolution brands such as ASAP Tickets, Skylux Travel and Dreamport and gives the group about 4,500 employees and more than 980,000 tickets issued in 2024.6 When the group named former Trip.com executive Gulce Karsli-Rozenveld as Oojo's chief executive in September 2024, it called itself the fourth-largest airline ticket consolidator in the US; she was still listed as CEO in January 2026.7,16
Oojo states no founding year on the pages we could access. The Better Business Bureau lists Oojo.com as a limited liability company, also named OOJO LLC, in San Mateo, California, incorporated in September 2019.10 Its Trustpilot profile has been claimed since July 2011.9
We found no ARC or IATA accreditation published in Oojo's own name. Its terms say a booking creates a contract with a travel provider, such as a consolidator or local travel agent, plus a contract of carriage with the airline, and which purchase terms apply depends on the currency you pay in.3 In early 2024 the footer showed a California Seller of Travel registration number; the April 2026 footer did not.15,1
How booking works
The search form covers one-way and round-trip flights in economy, premium economy, business and first class.1 Oojo's terms say prices change constantly, that it cannot promise the prices displayed, and that a fare is only secured once tickets are issued; the help centre adds that a fare can rise if checkout is delayed.3,4
In the version archived in 2025, checkout ran in four stages: search, passenger details, optional services and payment.14 Names had to match the passport or ID exactly, because they could not be changed after booking.14
Tickets are electronic and confirmed by email with a booking reference.3 In the My Trips account you can check baggage and flight details, request a change or cancellation, add seats, meals or special assistance, and download the itinerary.4 Phone agents are available too: the group's media kit describes more than 3,000 agents in 12 contact-centre offices in countries including Colombia, India and the Philippines.4,6
Fees, extras and refunds
Oojo publishes no fee table on the pages we could access and no fixed starting price: as of 3 November 2026 the cost depends on airline, route, date and fare.3 The terms warn that payment fees, service fees, taxes and other charges may apply, and that your card provider may add conversion fees.3
Changes and refunds follow the airline's fare rules. Exchanges and refunds are only possible where the fare allows them and may involve penalties and fare differences; most airlines require cancellation at least 24 hours before departure, and a no-show can mean the ticket value is lost.4 Oojo itself makes no refund for delays, cancellations, overbooking or strikes.3 Optional paid extras are advertised next to the search form:1
- Travel Care Service
- An upsell service under the privacy policy. In the 2025 checkout it came in three tiers, was said to waive up to $200 in agency fees for changes, cancellations or refunds, and was marked as not an insurance policy.5,14
- Price-drop add-on
- Shown on the April 2026 homepage as Price Drop Protection. In the 2025 checkout it checked fares for 24 hours after booking, paid any saving as a voucher, and its fee was non-refundable.1,14
- Lost Baggage Protection
- Price and terms were not set out on the Oojo pages we could access.1
The 2025 checkout also showed a separate booking-fee line and warned that a card may be billed in several charges adding up to the total.14 Compare the final total with the airline's own price and leave out extras you do not need.
Customer service and disputes
Oojo says its travel experts are available 24/7.2 The help centre sends customers first to the My Trips account, where they can leave a request or start a live chat that runs around the clock; phone and email are the alternatives.4
Problems with the flight itself are to be settled with the travel provider unless Oojo is that provider. Claims against Oojo start with a written notice, followed by 30 days to reach an agreement.3 For consumers outside Europe the terms apply Dutch law and the courts of Amsterdam, as far as local consumer law allows, and exclude class actions where permitted.3
Payment, security and privacy
The site footer shows Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover logos, together with Norton, BBB and SSL badges.1 Oojo's 2025 checkout described extra card checks for some orders: either a small pending charge of under $2 that the cardholder confirms, or a three-way call with the card issuer.14
Under the privacy policy, the data controller is the website operator while you browse and the travel product provider once you buy, depending on your currency. Data is generally not shared with third parties but may go to associated companies and suppliers where there is a legal basis, and you have rights to access, correct, delete and object.5
Ratings and complaints
On 3 November 2026 Trustpilot showed a TrustScore of 4.4 out of 5, rated "Excellent", from 18,615 reviews, 84% of them five-star and 6% one-star.9 Oojo invites customers to review it and had replied to all negative reviews, typically within 24 hours.9 Its own pages quote higher figures: 4.7 on the about page in April 2026 and 4.8 in the media kit.2,6 Complaint records, checked the same day:
- BBB rating
- A; Oojo.com accredited since 30 June 202010
- BBB complaints
- 382 in the last three years, 142 in the last 12 months11
- BBB customer reviews
- 4.32 out of 5 from 712 reviews12
- US DOT complaint cases
- 16 about Oojo from August to December 2025; Expedia 150, Booking.com 84, sister brand ASAP Tickets 3613
Recent BBB cases describe paid bookings cancelled because the fare was no longer available, refunds for flights the airline cancelled and a duplicate booking; Oojo replied, for example by refunding a cancelled booking and passing a refund request to the airline without promising approval.11 The DOT counts are not adjusted for sales volume, so they show that complaints exist, not how often they occur per ticket.13
How getting started works
Booking a flight on Oojo follows the usual online travel agency pattern, from search to e-ticket:1,14
- Search one-way or round-trip flights and choose the cabin class and number of travelers.1
- Compare results and open the fare rules: baggage, change and cancellation fees, refundability.4
- Enter passenger details exactly as they appear in the passport or ID, since names cannot be changed after booking.14
- Review the optional extras and the total, then pay by card; some orders need extra card verification.14,1
- Wait for the confirmation email with your booking reference, then manage the trip in My Trips.3,4
Prices, terms and availability change and can differ by country or state. Check the current terms on Oojo's own website before you buy.

Our verdict on Oojo
Oojo is a real, sizeable flight agency: a Dutch-registered operator within Trevolution Group, a BBB-accredited US company with an A rating and a Trustpilot score of 4.4 from more than 18,000 reviews.3,10,9 The 24/7 chat in the My Trips account is a practical plus when plans change.4
The trade-offs: there is no published fee table, paid extras are offered at checkout, changes depend on airline fare rules and BBB recorded 142 complaints in the last 12 months.3,14,11 If you book, compare the total with the airline's own price, read the fare rules and skip extras you do not need.
